Join us for a special workshop to celebrate Chuseok!
Dr. Eugene Kim invites participants to a shared reading journal session using Korean books. Alongside journaling, the workshop offers an introduction to contemporary Korean literature, encouraging participants to explore its themes, voices, and cultural contexts through reflective writing. Participants will spend time writing short reading journal entries together, and will also have the opportunity to share one book they found particularly memorable from their reading this year.
The session focuses on reflection and gentle discussion, creating a relaxed and welcoming space for connecting through reading rather than formal analysis.
The workshops will be open to anyone aged 16 and over, as well as Korean speaking participants or people with specific interests in Korean literature.
Requirements:
Parents and guardians must accompany children at all times.
